Shame I didn’t have the right key to show you the real pipes.

That would have been cool. I’m assuming that’s where the doors lead?

.
The door on the left leads to the sacrament-prep room. The door on the right leads to boxes and boxes of sheet music and more doors.

For anyone who is interested, Rocky Mountain Organ Co. of Salt Lake City, UT, will be removing the Austin organ console Wednesday, August 31st, 2011, to ship it back to the Austin factory for an overhaul. This is the beginning of a project to refurbish the entire organ. I expect the organ to be out of service for several months. This will be a high-quality factory refurbishing, restoring the organ to like new playing condition. Feel free to contact me if you have any concerns or questions.
