I’m not sure why so many of the pews have been removed, but there are a lot of chairs on both the right and left aisles that appear to be used in their place.

The pews have been removed because the building is used by the developmental center and many of them are in wheelchairs. Local wards are assigned to send their youth to this ward to help with services. It is a very unique and neat opportunity.

Yes, it is one of my favorites as well. With as many people as attend the Timpanogos Temple across the street, I wish more people knew about this beautiful building so close to them.
