The architectural plans say this is a Douglas W. Burton design. But, Douglas definitely borrowed extensively from his father for this one. What a great building.

I agree it’s a fantastic building. So the plans do list Douglas? In the Ward Manuscript History it simply said Bro. Burton, so factoring in the date it was built I made an educated guess.

Burton was a Los Angeles-based architect, so this would definitely make sense.

Too bad they don’t do the Christmas pageant here anymore. It was really neat to see the angels up on the roof.

The Chapel inside is awesome with hanging glass chandeliers. It has been added on to several times, but is still a great building.
