Discovering Great Mormon Buildings

Liberty Ward Exterior

One of my favorites. But it’s another building I don’t have any info on yet. This one is definitely mid-century, though.

the grounds are lovely! it’s so refreshing to see a building that isn’t floating in a giant sea of cracked asphalt. But I the circular bit reminds me of a grain silo or a peasant’s hut or something….. Do you have interior shots of this one? Do you know where the chapel is, and what the round thing looks like on the inside?

    The address is cool too.

    • The building was locked up when I was there, but I do have some interior shots from someone else I’ll post. The chapel is at the front – the round apse forms the rostrum where the choir seats and pulpit are. Probably the nicest part of the building is the cultural hall.
