Go to Google maps and check out 3102 North 18th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ. That chapel was just outside my area on my mission, yet somehow I never saw it before stumbling on it online today.

Very nice. I missed it also, when I was in Phoenix. Thanks for the heads up.

The building in Phoenix, also known as the Osborn Ward building, was the building I first recall attending church, and where I was baptised. I had forgotten how lovely the building was. I recalll their being a nice picture window in the relief society room which looked out to a courtyard, where there were several tropical plants. The primary room was still the mini chapel type on the north wing of the building. One thing I remember being strange was that he building still had copies of the dedicatory program in a bureau/desk (when I attended in the early 1980s). The ward at the time was a nearly dead/newly wed ward, and I understand the stake has been dissolved and incorporated into the North stake.

Jay, is the Osborn building the one on 18th Ave or are you referring to another location? If so, do you know the address?
